What is purrify?
purrify is a plant-based, fast-clumping cat litter that forms scoopable clumps and produces a visible color response after urine contact. It combines everyday litter performance with wellness-focused pH observation.
How long does one bag last?
Usage varies with the number and size of cats, litter-box dimensions, fill depth, scooping routine and top-ups. Check the current package directions and replenish the litter as needed rather than relying on a guaranteed number of days.
Can I mix purrify with another litter?
For the clearest health-monitoring result, use purrify by itself in a clean, dry litter box. Mixing can make the visible color response harder to interpret. Gradual mixing may be used only as a transition method when needed for cat acceptance; once active monitoring begins, use purrify alone.
Can I use purrify in an automatic litter box?
Automatic litter boxes are not recommended for health-monitoring use. Rapid cycling, mixing or cleaning can make a fresh color result harder to observe and attribute.

What does the color change show?
The visible response supports urine-pH observation across the product’s pH 4.0–10.0 reference range. It is organized into five observation zones: Acidic, Slightly Acidic, Normal Range, Slightly Alkaline and High Alkaline.
When should I read the result?
Observe the fresh color-changing clump during the normal cleanup routine and follow the current package color guide. Drying, lighting and environmental conditions can make an older result harder to compare, so record the fresh observation consistently.
What should I do after an acidic or alkaline observation?
Record the result and look for patterns over time. Do not use one color result to diagnose a condition or prescribe food, water, medication or treatment. Contact a veterinarian if the result persists or the cat shows concerning signs.
Can purrify diagnose a UTI, crystals or kidney disease?
No. purrify cannot diagnose or rule out a urinary tract infection, crystals, kidney disease, bladder stones, dehydration or another condition. Veterinary examination and appropriate testing are required for medical conclusions.
Will the litter change my cat’s urine pH?
purrify is designed to provide a visible response after contact with urine; it is not a medicine, food or supplement. The result is an observation aid and should not be treated as a medical measurement or intervention.
Safety and households
What if my cat swallows some litter?
Small incidental ingestion is not expected to cause harm; the product is not intended for consumption. If a cat consumes a large amount or develops vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, coughing, breathing difficulty or another unusual symptom, contact a veterinarian.
How does monitoring work in a multi-cat home?
purrify can be used as litter in multi-cat homes, but a result from a shared box cannot automatically identify which cat produced it. For cat-specific observation, use separate boxes, temporarily monitor one cat in a clean box, or directly observe which cat used the box before recording the result.
Can food, medication or supplements affect an observation?
Several factors may affect urine and its pH. If you have concerns, share the observation pattern and any recent diet, medication, supplement or routine changes with your veterinarian. Do not change prescribed care based only on a litter color result.
When should I contact a veterinarian?
Contact a veterinarian for persistent unusual color results or signs such as straining, frequent urination, blood, pain or vocalizing, reduced appetite or unusual behavior. If a cat repeatedly attempts to urinate but produces little or no urine, seek urgent veterinary care.
